Benson's EPS is about improvement. The sort of improvement that is backed by a 40 year coaching record which shows every athlete (see Honour Roll) who came to the program healthy and who followed their program consistently for a minimum of 9 months improved significantly. We are about:
*Beginners and "Fun" athletes amazing themselves,
*Triathletes and athletes with "competitive" dreams winning their Age Goup categories and gaining AG World C'ship selection.
*Juniors and those with the requisite talent and committment reaching Commonwealth, Olympic & World Championship level.
Benson's EPS is also about technique.
With swimming and cycling we'll expose you to people with Olympic experience. In running I will teach you things you would not have believed possible until you SEE the 'before' and 'after' video. Things that led Kenyan Moses Kiptanui, the 3000m Steeplechaser runner of the 20th CENTURY, to say "If I had known what you have just shown me I would have run 6 seconds faster".
So if you want to have fun AND really optimise your potential JOIN US! Alternatively, contact me, Tony Benson.

Where is EPS?
Where you are now or anywhere you want to be! Our correspondence athletes perform equally as well as our local squad based athletes. EPS has its headquarters in Melbourne but is an umbrella organization that comprises Benson's (Triathlon), and Run With The Best (Running) and operates globally. For more detail visit Coaching & Training or click here on Squads and Venues and to see who we have coached read Honour Roll.
Who can we help?
Anyone needing endurance and speed. For example we have assisted Australian Rules footballer Greg Williams during 1995 when he won the Brownlow Medal, the Norm Smith Medal and Carlton won the Premiership and decathlete, Peter Fossey, who represented Australia at the 1986 Commonwealth Games. These are both high profile examples but there have many others - pentathletes, US College level basketballers, junior footballers, hockey and netball players, etc.
Who coaches with EPS?
EPS athletes are coached by Tony Benson (Melbourne) and/or Ben Higginbottom (Newcastle). We are assisted in Melbourne by Barb Augustin, Frances Lipscome & Patrick Legge. EPS's international resources include Col Stewart (Australia), Ian Harries (South Africa), Irv Ray (USA) and Patrick Sang (Kenya).
Full biographies of these coaches may be found at EPS Coaches.
Who can help you in Melbourne/Newcastle?
Anthony Moustakas (CBD Cycles), Paul Visentini (Alphington SMC / PhysioSports Brighton), Patrick Legge (massage), Tri-Alliance (social).
