Australian Men
Tony has coached athletes in many countries directly or by correspondence over the years. Many started as teenagers. Not mentioned here are the many triathletes who have represented their country in various age group categories because there are simply too many to list. The list below represents the best of the Australian male athletes
Matt Bailey - Australian U20 Triathlon Long Course Champion & World U25 LC Silver MedalistMatt had been with Tony for 18 months prior to leaving to train with several other coaches but returned after 18 months due to lack of progress. Matt started (re-started) in March 2008 and competed successfully in the Canberra and Geelong Half Ironman as a lead in the his Australian Championship in Jervis Bay in March 2009 and his WC Silver Medal in September 2009. | |
| Bryce Quirk - World Championship Olympic Distance TriathleteA 2004/2005 World Championship representative Bryce ran 31:31/10k easing up to win the 2005 Australian Olympic Distance Championship and become the first Victorian in 15 years stand on top of the National podium. Bryce, who has won or placed in ITU events came to Tony in early 2004 to get assistance with strategic planning and to improve his run. | |

![]() | Sean Foster - Ironman TriathleteCoached by Tony in cycling and running from 1994 to 2004 Sean recorded four "Top 10" Ironman finishes, competed in two time Hawaii Ironman events and has an IM bests of 8:46 hour with best ride and run times, under Tony, of 4:48hr for the bike (2002) and 2:55hr run (2003). He was also the EPS swim coach for many years and, under Tony's supervision, coordinated the EPS Ironman program in 2003 and 2004 and the cycling program in 2004.

Steve Moneghetti - Track & FieldTony coached Steve, shown here as a very young athlete, for 5 years prior to accepting the Head Coach position in the Philippines. Steve went on to represent Australia in the marathon at Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and World Championships for 15 years. His best time was 2:08:13.
