Tony has coached athletes in many countries directly or by correspondence over the years. Many started as juniors or Under 23's. Not mentioned here are the many triathletes who have represented their country in various age group categories because there are simply too many to list. The following list represents the best of the international athletes.

Eliud Kipchoge (Kenya)

The 2002 World Junior XC Champion and 2003 5000m Champion is coached by Patrick Sang using Benson "Run With The Best" principles. Curretly 18 years of age Elicud has a best 5000m time of 12:52.

Rip Oldmeadow (USA)

1998 Australian Ironman Age Group winner with a best of 9:07 hour.

Jeff Smith

A 1:54 hour Olympic Distance triathlete Jeff's biggest moment came when he was selected into New Zealand's World Junior Elite team in 1997.

Ray Wicksell (USA)

A former miler Ray ran 13:25.0 for 5000m under Tony's guidance in 1985

Hector Begeo (Philippines)

A three time Olymyic Steeplechaser who semi-finaled at Seoul in 1988 he won four SEAG gold medals between 1983 and 1999 as well as the 1983 Asian Games Bronze Medalist
