Olympic and Ironman

There is a further increase in the volume and intensity of all workouts and cycling workouts are no longer optional.

It is recommended Olympic and Ironman athletes do the Monday run technique/speed session.

The Olympic and Ironman/Ironwoman squads are differentiated by the specificity of the work done within the various training sessions rather than by volume.

The other major difference between the two programs are the four ultra cycle and run workouts scheduled annually in the Ironman/Ironwoman programs.
