Triathlon Squad
If you are coming into Triathlon for the first time or you are a former athlete coming back into the sport the EPS training progression is outlined below.
As you read from left to right you will notice a steady progression in terms of training sessions and you should also be aware you could be a Level 1-2 or Level 3-4 athlete, ie, you might swim at Level 1, cycle at Level 2 and run at Level 3 or the reverse.
A word of caution here however. A former swimmer may enter triathlon with a great cardiovascular system and an under developed structural system - and that great CV system could easily lead that person to overdo the cycle and/or run and on into injury.
The best thing to do is select the Level you believe you are best suited and then discuss it with me.
